THE BALLOTS ARE IN FOR THE PRIMARY. IF YOU WOULD LIKE AN ABSENTEE BALLOT, CALL THE OFFICE BY AUGUST 23, OR STOP BY AND VOTE AT THE OFFICE. IF YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED TO VOTE, YOU HAVE UNTIL AUGUST 18th FOR THE PRIMARY.

We are looking for a strong someone to carry groceries from the car to the food shelf on the second floor of the town office. Any Mt Abe student need a community service project ? Call the town office at 453-2639

AFTER APRIL 15TH	HOMESTEAD DECLARATION
DON'T FORGET TO DECLARE YOUR VERMONT HOMESTEAD LATE BUT STILL NEEDS TO BE DONE http://www.state.vt.us/tax/formsproperty2009.shtml THE FORM IS ALSO AVAILABLE IN THE VERMONT TAX BOOKLET. IF YOU MISS THIS DEADLINE, YOU WILL SEE A PENALTY ON YOUR TAX BILL.

All Dogs must be licensed every year by April 1. A current rabies certificate and proof of neutering are necessary. The cost after June 1 are $20 and $26. Cats do not need registration.

ONGOING	Food Shelf
The Starksboro Food Shelf is located at the Town Office. It is available when the office is open. Donations of cash or non perishable food appreciated. We do have a freezer for frozen items but no refrigeration.
