Congratulations to the 3/4 basketball team on winning the basketball
fundraiser. And many thanks to all the teams. Great
Job! We will take sign ups for tee ball, baseball and softball this
Saturday, March 22 from 10:30 A.M. until noon. This will be
the final time, so if you haven’t signed up come on down to the
Robinson School gym. Thanks to everybody for the outstanding effort
on the fundraiser and we will see you at the Pancake Breakfast on
April 6. Come get your picture taken with Champ from 9:00 A.M.
until 10:30 A.M.
2008/03/17 - The Annual
Cota Field Cleanup Day has been scheduled for Sunday April 20th,
2008 at 9:00 A.M. A smaller preliminary Cota Field Cleanup Day
has been scheduled for Sunday April 13th, 2008 at 1:00 P.M.
The next monthly Starksboro Sports Program meeting originally scheduled
for Monday April 7st, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. has been moved to Sunday
April 13th, 2008 at 5:00 P.M. at Cota Field following the
preliminary Cota Field Cleanup Day.
2008/03/10 - We
will have a meeting on 3/17/2008 at 7:00 PM in the Robinson
Multi Purpose Room. Discussing Annual Pancake Breakfast
details and coaching/baseball/softball topics.
2008/02/29 - There will
be A Sports Program Meeting on Sunday Night March 2, 2008 at 7:00
P.M. in the Robinson Multipurpose room. We will start having
meetings the first Sunday of every month at 7:00 P.M.
2008/02/29 - The Sports
Program will recognize all basketball participants during the MARS
assembly at Robinson on March 17, 2008. Parents are invited to
attend. The Mars assembly generally runs from 8:00 A.M. until 8:30
A.M.

2008/01/23 - Special thanks to
the guys that worked on getting the new scoreboard installed at the
school. They were Mike W, Scott H, Steve B,
Tom M, Don M and Gene M and Dan N for letting
them use his staging.

2008/01/11 - Tom M is
trying to come up with a logo so we can get one made for the
basketball scoreboard. Tell him what you think of this and if you
have any other ideas.
2008/01/11 - The University of Vermont women's
basketball team will host a free clinic on Monday, January 21 at
Patrick Gymnasium. The
clinic is for girls in grades 1-8 and will take place from 12:30 pm
to 2:00 pm.
Anyone interested in participating should RSVP for the clinic by
contacting assistant coach Steve Lanpher at
steve.lanpher@uvm.edu or 802-656-7682.
Participants are asked to bring sneakers and wear basketball attire.
Members of the UVM women's basketball team and coaching staff will
be on hand to instruct participants in various drills.

20% of that evening's take to the Starksboro Sports Program.
